Our Services

With our unpredictable weather, especially in winter months, being able to train indoors helps keep our horses fit, in work, and ready to compete; all whilst keeping ourselves sane too! Shoemakers Indoor Arena is available for hire and offers an outstanding, modern facility. The 60m x 30m indoor arena has an Andrews Bowen ProWax surface, and often has a jumping course built by Sammy.

The outdoor arena is also available to hire and, NEW for 2026, Shoemakers has built a grass jumping arena with a mix of showjumps and cross‑country fences.

Clinics at Shoemakers welcome riders of all levels. Led by Sammy and a selection of experienced professional coaches who run regular clinics at Shoemakers, sessions are supportive and encouraging. Group training creates a positive atmosphere where riders inspire and learn from one another, helping to build confidence, partnership with your horse, and motivation. Each clinic focuses on supporting your riding goals—while ensuring plenty of fun for you both.

Sammy offers one‑to‑one coaching for riders of all levels. Her approach is supportive and encouraging, tailored to each horse and rider combination. Sessions focus on building confidence as well as developing technical ability, whether through flatwork, polework, or show jumping. Sammy structures each lesson to help partnerships progress, address individual challenges, and move towards your goals with confidence.

Shoemakers provides schooling and holiday livery packages, shaped around the needs of you and your horse. Our approach is built on confidence and trust, giving you reassurance that your horse is receiving consistent, attentive care in experienced hands. Horses benefit from our excellent facilities, including the indoor arena, horse walker, and access to grazing, all within a calm and secure environment throughout their stay.
